Westerly Centaur

On 22nd September 2010 I posted an article about Westerly Centaurs. Here’s a link to it:

Centaurs have become enduring classic yachts since the last production boat in 1984. They appeal to many yachtsmen because of being practical and user friendly with their standing headroom and caravan-like accommodation suitable for a mum and dad with a couple of kids.

There are currently 4 Westerly Centaurs on Ebay.co.uk ranging from £6,000 to £8,995, the cheapest being auctioned, while the others are featured in the ‘Classified Ads’. That gives a pretty good idea of the current price for a Centaur. Four years ago you would be fortunate to find a good one under £10,000.

*Yacthworld.com are currently advertising 15 Centaurs for sale in the UK.
