Understandably, ‘Minnow’s’ floorboards over time became
grubby, and the metal hinges for the locker lids rusted. I had hinges left over
from when I built ‘Faith’ which were as good as new because they were packed in
plastic containers and coated with grease.
Today I replaced the old hinges and prepared the upper
surfaces of the floorboards for varnishing. Tomorrow I may be able to do the
varnishing.
